Two trip ideas - New Mexico, Colorado, Utah
I was wondering if you fine folks would give me feedback on a couple of trip ideas. Both originate in Oklahoma. Both trips include Mesa Verde NP, Colorado NM, Arches NP, Canyonlands, four corners, and Santa Fe. Here are the differences
Option 1 includes Taos and hits Western CO including the Telluride area and Colorado 141, which is supposed to be pretty cool.
Option 2 skips Taos (I've been thru there, just not spent much time), and goes more to central Colorado, hits the Black Canyon of the Gunnison area (north side, because US 50 is limited right now on the south) and includes Colorado 92 & 65, which I've heard are awesome drives.
Option 1 is was my original plan but I've found myself second guessing, so I thought I'd ask opinions on anything I may have missed in my planning. Thanks!
