Airbnb Censors and Falsely Advertises
For everyone who used Airbnb especially in Texas....I tried to post an honest review (nothing offensive, personal, or goes against their stated policies) but it was deemed "not relevant" and removed. This vacation home rents for $650 per night and advertises a lake with fishing, swimming, kayaking, and sunning. Texas heat has dried up the river. All that is left is a bad odor, dead fish, and no lake enjoyment. I posted "the lake was not available to guest's enjoyment" but it was not allowed. Why? I am convinced the bottom line is money. It could potential change the bookings.
Would you want an independent, honest review about a property you reserved months ago about it's present condition? Would you trust the home owner that communicated with you multiple times to be honest about the level of the lake before you purchased life jackets for infants, fishing equipment, Texas sized rafts? I googled the property multiple times and never read the Kingsland lake was but a stream. This is because Airbnb is censoring and falsely advertising.
I have gone through all the complaints processes at Airbnb and filed a complaint with BBB. Please note this address and be wary of your booking from now until August. It is fully booked with the same naive vacationers as me and no way to let them know.
