I got some really weird advice from a judge/attorney about my road trip...
I was told to watch out for cops and that they would try to steal my stuff if they pulled me over and try and hit me with any charge and pull me over for no reason.
He said avoid Oklahoma for this reason.
He said Ohio and Illinois sucked and to pass through them quickly and that the cops in Illinois would profile me because I'm white.
He said Kansas sucked and to avoid it.
He said to avoid st.louis but if I pass through follow my GPS to a T bc the signs are confusing and the place is awful.
He said Missouri is white supremacist haven.
He said people in Iowa are weird and aloof.
He also said tons of felons live in national parks and not to trust any hikers lol
Not saying I believe everything he said and obviously tons of stereotyping but it definitely made me think, never really considered that cops might mess with me out of boredom seeing an out-of-state car wandering around.
