Is there anything worth stopping for between Santa Fe, NM and Eureka Springs, AR?
It looks like a whole lot of "not much" but still a lot of miles to cover. Is there anything worth stopping to see? Or is this just a leg to put my head down and drive?
I'll be traveling at the end of May if that makes a difference, and I like all manner of nature, art, roadside attractions, and good food. I know Oklahoma city is on the route, but admit I don't know much about it. While I like camping as a general rule, on this trip I won't have any camping gear and will instead be staying at hotels/airbnbs. No time pressure though, so detours that are worth it are OK :).
