Planning a road trip from Ottawa, ON to BC this spring. Hoping to hear from others who have done this drive already!
Title basically says it all.
Myself and 2 friends are planning a road trip from Ottawa to BC this spring. We're hoping to get 4 weeks off for the trip, but might have to settle for 3 depending on work. So far we've decided that our main focus is spending time out west, so we're hoping to get through Ontario/Manitoba/Saskatchewan as quick as we can. (should also add that all 3 of us are very comfortable driving for a long period & were planning to take turns)
We've already got a few different friends places to stay from Banff - Victoria, so we'll probably just sleep in the car until we make it to Alberta. I'm already quite familiar with iOverlander, but if anyones got some other recommendations for free overnight parking between Ottawa - Banff let me know!
Also would love to hear if you've got any tips, recommendations, or anything else that you think might help with our road trip!
