Las Vegas to Ohio
Sad, but my Brother In Law passed away, was cremated. My wife and I drove his wife's belongings and his remains back to her new home in Ohio. We traveled as much as Route 66 as we could. Had a great meal at Westside Lilo's in Seligman AZ (giant sized cake for dessert!). Stopped in Tecumcari and saw a parade, and in Texas saw the Cadillac Ranch. Also ate at The Big Texan Steak House. While it was a somber trip, we had a great time, and I knew my BIL would have enjoyed being with us. Got him home safe and sound. The benefit of the trip was my wife's attitude towards driving ("can't we fly?"). Now she brought up the idea of flying to Montana, and driving back through Montana, Wyoming, South Dakota to home to see the sights. Looking forward to it. Thanks for reading!
