Gonna attempt a Trip from San Francisco to Dallas, Texas
Hi guys, just want an opinion from experienced road trippers before trying this. The sedan I have runs fine but is really dented and looks eh, and my uncle has a nice Toyota Land Cruiser that he wants to give me so he can get something new. Basically I’m gonna scrap my car when I get there since I want to take the 4WD car back so I can snowboard without having to put on chains. I was thinking of camping places to save money, but I don’t know where good spots to stop would be. Is there a best/fastest route I should take? I would probably do this trip from Friday morning and get back Monday night. My last question is my mom is worried about my safety solo (all moms worry I know). I’m 20 (M) asian, so she thinks going to republican territory by myself could be bad, but I honestly lived in America my whole life and feel like I could be polite and courteous in most cases. Also, any good food places or sights to see on the way?
Forgot to say in the title I plan on going back to San Francisco before Monday.
