Advice for solo road trip from Oregon to Montana?
I’ll start by saying I’ve never taken a road trip completely by myself. I’ve driven back and forth from Oregon to California and vice versa numerous times but have always had another person with me. For a while now I’ve been thinking I want to take a road trip on my own to Montana from my current hometown of Portland OR. I’m a newly 29 year old woman and just kinda wanna fuckin do it! Plus I finally got a new car after my last one was totaled by a drunk driver about a year ago while it was parked on the side of the road at my previous place in Los Angeles (RIP to my beloved first car, my dear sweet red ‘94 Mustang). But I digress.
Anyway I’m very cautious in general as a woman in the world and know the importance of being safe, especially when doing something like this on my own. So any advice at all would be appreciated! Whether you’ve made this trip yourself or are just any general tips/things to note. Doesn’t have to be safety related although that would be great. Fun advice is also welcome such as cool places to stop. :)
