Ontario to BC during a pandemic next Wednesday - how's she looking?
Hi all - Family and I are moving back to British Columbia this Wednesday. We have all done the trip before, collectively gone across Canada 2-3 times entirely. The drive itself is peanuts for us.
We got a basic idea of what the trip is like at the moment, but a lot of these posts are a couple months old, and as we all know the current situation (in Canada) is fluctuating rapidly right now.
Apparently washrooms are an issue, or at least they were. Locally they certainly have been, can't tell you how many times I've had to pull over on the side of the road. Some have began opening up, but not all.
Hotels/motels seem to be ok. It's been over a year since I've stayed in one (the last ontario to bc trip), so I'm wondering if there is any changes regarding a regular hotel stay. Last time I checked you are required to stay in your room from check in to check out in Manitoba.
Not really concerned with the food. We always stop at grocery stores and make our lunch/snacks. Dinner and breakfast too.
Basically anything else you noticed or can think of would be great!
