Honeymoon Roadtrip!
Hey everyone! My fiancee and I are getting married on oct 30th. (courthouse, with just our moms as witnesses.) We were hoping to roadtrip to a couple different places. We'll have about 15 days+ for time and would be leaving around Nov 5th. We live in MI. We both like camping, hiking, outdoors, beaches, backpacking, etc. We're also into quaint towns, historical spots, site seeing and other typical tourist spots. I really wanted to see northern CA maybe OR but with what's going on with the fires, etc....i figured it might not be the best idea. She's thinking someplace like Maine, hit up some little towns. The idea of CO also sounds nice. Love the mountains. Maybe upstate NY. We want to make the most of the time we have and are totally open to hitting up a couple states. Definitely want to "live like a king" for at least a few days (resort, fancy hotel, etc.) but are totally open to camping, glamping, backpacking, etc. We're definitely NOT rich and are realistic in the potential costs involved. We are willing to spend the money though to have an amazing time. Thank you for your suggestions!
