Sorry if this isn’t the right sub and for such a specific question, but curious if people have any opinions on Jersey Shore, Ocean City, MD, Virginia Beach, OBX, Myrtle, etc.

For context I’m looking to road trip from New England with some family to spend a long weekend later this summer to a nice beach we’ve never been to.

Ideally there’d be a boardwalk or at least some nightlife with bars and restaurants either right on the beach or a short walk. I know some of the beaches I mentioned tend to have a lot of riff raft, like Ocean City and Myrtle Beach so the less of that the better. Is OBX any better?
