Roadtriping to Alaska from Toronto
Hey guys its my first time roadtripping while living out of a car. For cooking i have a single electric burner for countertops but I was wondering if i could plug it into a power inverter and plug it into my cars cigarette lighter socket? Not sure if it would fry anything or overwhelm the car battery. *Car would be running to not drain battery. And the car is a 2017 toyota rav4. (Also only used to cook breakfast, eggs etc) Trip will be about a month long.
Or am I better off getting a butane camping stove? Im only scared about storing the butane properly and not having it explode or not being able to find any in rural canada.
Any and all advice is welcomed!
*EDIT: I have actually drove across america and did route 66 from Toronto to California and stayed in my car but ate only fast food. (Not a good feeling)
