Planning roadtrip from IL to TX soon, any advice?
Before COVID, I had been discussing with my partner about relocating but wanted to visit TX as a possible relocation state. With everything going on with Covid, we no longer feel comfortable flying but also need to make decisions soon on what we want to do in regards to relocating. We decided we would road trip to TX to just explore potential areas, get a visual on possible towns to relocation and check out housing. We are planning on taking as much precautions as we can control.
We have taken road trips in the past but I'm wondering with Covid and maybe even now with the protesting, if there are some things we should consider for our trip. Circumstances do not seem to be as simple as before. Any ideas or advice would be greatly appreciated!
As the title states we will be traveling from IL to Tx. Are there things we should consider traveling between states? Or plan is to drive straight to TX without stopping at lodging. (As long as we both feel good)
