My journey from Ohio to Cali
I'm going from Ohio to Vegas to SF. This is my first actual road trip with the intent to spend time view-scaping. I've spent every other long distance trip going non stop to my destinations and I've always regretted not having time to not see America. With no job right now, cash, and an opportunity to stay with my parents while I job hunt, this is the best opportunity to do this.
I bought a Prius and did some serious work to get it ready. It's gonna be a tight ride because I'll be bringing my Desktop rig, files, clothes, camping gear, tools, and other necessities while I live in Cali. I haven't put it in all in the car yet to size it, but I have everything in a corner and believe I can fit everything and still kick back the seats to sleep flat in the trunk with my sleeping bag. I also packed a tent in the camping box.
I'm feeling a bit overwhelmed right now because I want this to be a good trip. I'm debating whether to take I70 all the way to I15 or go through Texas. I'm researching sites I should go to and planning two different trips. After I'm going to pick the best one and share it here. If have any thoughts or suggestions for places I should go, or advice about my trips, please let me know.
