Looking for travel partner(s) for a US road trip - 23M NYC
Hey so I’ve realized that we’ll never have an opportunity like this again where the economy is down, gas is cheap, and there’s not much traffic due to the lockdown. I’m looking for a spontaneous and adventurous person/group to go on a cross country road trip.
Ideally, I’d like to hit Route 66, up Route 1 (the Pacific Coast), loop down to Nevada/ Colorado, and then take Route 50 (the Loneliest Road) back to the East Coast. I really want to see a lot of the National Parks, but am open/down for anything!
Before the pandemic, I traveled through Europe for 3 months and spent another month between central Mexico, Miami, and Montreal. I speak Spanish fluently and speak a bit of Italian as well. Love meeting new people, learning about different cultures, museums/galleries, hiking and most importantly I’m always down for a good time (partying).
The only problem on my end is that the sedan I have is small, needs to get tuned up and needs all tires replaced, which would cost north of $1k. So if you would like to take your car, that would be ideal, if not we can look at rentals.
The quicker we can get on the road, the better! :)
