A week around Yellowstone and I'm stuck!
So my wife and I bought some cheap flights to Salt Lake City on a whim. We head there in a couple of weeks. We're renting a car and driving for a week. She's always wanted to see Yellowstone, so we're definitely spending 3-4 days there. However, that still leaves half a week and I'm frozen on what else to do. This trip is all about nature, lots of mountains, nice hiking, etc. since we don't have much of that where we live. We've decided against anything in Southern Utah as we'll want to fly into Vegas and do a 2-3 week trip to hit all of that area at once. Glacier Nat'l Park seems pretty cool, but that's a bit out of the way and I feel like there might be a lot more that we should see closer to Yellowstone/Salt Lake City areas while we've got the chance. Any suggestions on what you'd spend those other 3-4 days doing knowing you'd have to get back to SLC?
