i'm back at home in the oakland area but planning on driving out to michigan to spend the summer with old friends there. it'll probably take me 4-5 days, not planning on making any long stops. will be self-quarantining before and after the trip.

any input given the covid situation? part of me thinks it's better to leave asap before it spreads further, another feels we'll (hopefully) have a better idea of where things are headed in june. but i get the sense i won't be the only one hitting the road that long weekend and i'm concerned about gas stations/rest stops/hotels etc., don't want to get anyone or myself sick.
