I made a new dashboard to visualize the average number of visitors and campers by month in each US National Park
A month or so ago I posted links to National Park visitation dashboards I made that showed stats about visitation and camping in all of the parks. The link to the those original dashboards are here:
Original Dashboard Desktop: Link
Original Mobile Link: Link
Some people were interested in a dashboard that would show the average visitation and campers by month for each park stacked on top of each other so that you could easily see and compare busy times for different National Parks. That way you can tell when would be a good time to go on a trip when you’re trying to hit multiple parks and avoid hitting them all in their peak season. Here are the links to both of the new dashboards that show this:
Desktop Link: Link
Mobile Link: Link
The desktop dashboards are easier to interpret since I could spread the data out more, but if you’re on a phone you definitely want to use the mobile link for the dashboards.
You can select any amount of the parks that you want and then only those will display, so this way you can choose to view only the parks you’re interested in going to visit.
