11 nights starting and finishing in Denver, CO in April - Any ideas on routes to see as many national parks as possible?
I have a flight in and out of Denver, the first and last nights will have to be in/within a 3h drive of Denver due to the times of the flights but other than that I've got a complete open book on the route I can take. I did a trip a couple of years ago through southern Utah and visited Canyonlands and Arches which were absolutely the highlight of my trip and so I was hoping to visit more national parks. I would love to something like the following but I know it's too much of a sprint for ~10 nights:
- Denver 1st night
- Santa Fe 1 night
- Grand Canyon 1 night
- Las Vegas 1 night
- Zion NP 2 nights
- Bryce Canyon NP 1 night
- Moab 1 night (to maybe sneak in Arches again for a few hours)
- Head back to Denver, staying somewhere like Glenwood springs last night then getting to airport by 12pm.
But I'm completely open to other routes/shorter versions of this you can suggest. Ideas much appreciated.
