Solo Road Trip Questions for (1ish week) SoCal to Pueblo Colorado
Hello there, going to list a few questions and some information that may aid in helping me!
Dates of Travel (2 options): Leave March 15th late at night or march 16th bright and early.
Live 1 hour north of Los Angeles with. plan to go from LA to Scottsdale, AZ to Pueblo, CO to Las Vegas, NV then back home. I have family and friends both in Vegas and Colorado to stay at for sleeping and showering. Between those family stops I can use my Kaiser Permanente Gym Plan that enables me to use gyms across the USA that allow me use them.
Wondering of any safe rest stops(showers would be a plus)/must sees/food spots/national parks/trails obviously to visit at any of these destinations (minus Vegas I'm a regular there), or that are on my route/near it.
I do plan to stealth car camp in my vehicle (2013 Prius V) as I won't be covering as much travel being the only driver. I have a national park pass, 40mpg vehicle, car camping gear/hiking gear. As a college student I will try and minimize cost but don't mind even car camping in any beautiful campsites. Any gear you recommended both for myself/car. I will have my car serviced prior, have a spare tire, maybe chains? AAA card in case of emergency.
