In need of guidance. Got laid off and want to see parts of Pacific Northwest, Canada, Yellowstone and Colorado. Is it too cold to go right now?
I hope you all can lend a hand, as I have very little experience with winter road travel. Obviously the timing can't be helped, but I have a few weeks to travel and clear my head before I get serious about a job search. I want to take my dog and me through a few cities, national parks and Canada. All would be firsts for me. I have a friend in Colorado Springs that would cap off the trip before I drive back to California. I've never done much driving through snow, so I'm mainly looking for guidance on that front from winter veterans. I have a Toyota Camry, so I will be sticking to the safest roads.
Here is a screenshot of the route. Has anyone done a similar route during this time of year? Any tips would help!
