ROADTRIP Amsterdam to Peking
Hi! So, I’m kind of a weirdo.
Friends of mine have traveled the world a lot. One went on a trip around the world and my niece is living in Australia for three years.
And everybody was saying, ‘Bart will always stay in Amsterdam’ . Nothing could be more wrong. I like to travel, but I don’t like to be a mainstream traveler. I like to do things my way! So I decided that I’m going to make a roadtrip from my hometown Amsterdam to Peking.
I will be travelling through Europe to Turkey. From there I will be going through: Iran Azerbaijan, Georgia, all the stan’s, up to Russia, Mongolia into China.
I am going to build an home out of an old Volkswagen van. Any tips on that are also welcome!
Now comes the hard part. I have so many questions! Like do people know if it is safe to travel through the many stans? Do people have recommendations for me? Where do i really need to go? Or what should I avoid? Are there hidden gems i should go to?
Let me here your expertise, knowledge and story’s! I want to make the best out of this trip.
