Indianapolis to Colorado, Utah, and Arizona
Hi all,
I am in the midst of planning a trip from Indianapolis out west, focusing on Colorado, Utah, and Arizona. I’ve downloaded the app Roadtrippers (which I highly suggest, it’s very useful), and started mapping my stops. They are as follows:
- Kansas City, MO
- Denver / Rocky Mountain Ntl Park / Red Rocks
- Glenwood Springs, CO
- Moab, Utah - Arches National Park
- Torrey, Utah - Capitol Reef National Park
- Bryce Canyon
- Springdale, Utah - Zion National
- Page, Az - Antelope Canyon
- Grand Canyon
- Flagstaff, Arizona
- Albuquerque, NM
- Oklahoma City, Oklahoma
- St. Louis MO
- Back home to Indianapolis
We are planning around 18 days to get all of this done. Is this manageable? Am I trying too many place or am I missing anything spectacular? I don’t plan on spending much time in Kansas City, Albuquerque, Oklahoma City, or St. Louis. These are serving as rest stops in our otherwise nature oriented trip.
Thanks!
Edit: it’s a 65 hour round trip, little less than 4K miles.
