Do you feel like traveling solo changed you?

I'm about to travel to Europe solo in a few weeks and experience it for myself. But I remember someone I knew who was also a massive introvert and was socially awkward. He took the plunge and solo traveled and at first was very lonely until he finally realised it was him that needed to approach people and become more social. It took him 9 months of loneliness to realise this and once he broke out of his shell he said afterwards it was the best time of his life and regrets not being more open earlier. It changed him. Do you think solo travel has helped you in any way? via /r/solotravel https://ift.tt/2MkG0c0
