Solo travel to South America
Hey everyone! I've recently come upon the opportunity to take some time to have a little vacation for myself after not having one for years, and I've decided to visit a cousin of mine in Ecuador. I plan on taking about 2 weeks off of work, but don't think I want to spend the entire time there, so I'm considering spending 4 or 5 days in Rio, because when will I ever get the chance to go there again?How can I do Brazil within a moderate budget? Are there hostels/hotels/areas I should look at or avoid? I plan already on dropping most of my money on the plane ticket, and I already have a free place to stay in Ecuador. Even still, I don't want to go and get ripped off either because I don't speak Portuguese. Also, I've never really traveled alone aside from domestically. via /r/solotravel https://ift.tt/2JSCL9h
