Planning my first solo travel trip and I'm not sure if I should go for China's 144 hour visa exemption
I have 8 days off work and was debating on whether or not I should go to Tokyo or Shanghai for a solo travel trip and decided I'd go to Shanghai, but I wasn't aware that the visa cost $200. Now I'm considering maybe going to Tokyo and then Shanghai for 4 days each in order to get the 144 hour transit visa exemption. This option isn't much more expensive than just going to Tokyo and back, but a) I don't know how the 144 hour exemption really works and b) I have no idea if 4 days each is enough. Can anyone with experience help me out here? via /r/solotravel https://ift.tt/32Y0zjE
