Making a career change, which demands extensive periods on the road.

Hi all, new to the sub but was hoping to get some input from your experiences.I am an avid camper and spend a majority of my weekend sleeping out of vehicle or tent. I am always carrying enough to get me through a 3 day period but it looks like I will be have to look into more extensive stays!I will be making a career change come end of August. With that said, this will require me to drive throughout multiple states (TX, OK, AR) and in some occasions the Midwest. The majority of my time spent working, I will need to dress in business casual and at some instances wear a suit.I also have a dog, which as impractical as it seems...I would really enjoy to have him on trips with me.With those limiting stipulations I had a few questions for the group:- What have you found to be the most budget/efficient overnight stays? (camping, camper, pop-up, camper shell)- What about food? (I eat pretty healthy, and usually maintain bringing my lunch to work)- Any recommendations along these three states? (I am sure some are laughing, but I find some really really pretty areas within those states)I have a company card which provides only slight discounts to hotel stays, all meals and everything else I spend on is tax deductible but with my hobby of spending time outdoors and enjoying the moments with my time on the road... I want to make the best of it.All brainstorming is appreciated, thank you! via /r/solotravel https://ift.tt/30WBN1h
