It's amazing

Thank you first of all to this sub and it's content that inspired me to push myself and just do it.I'm 19 years old on my third interrail trip but my first one solo and I feel that everyday I'm creating memories that I will have for life. The freedom and infinite possibilities of everyday is a breath of fresh air compared to everyday life for me. Any of my fears or doubts have been pushed aside as I settled into my own rhythm, especially after I realised that I set that rhythm.I've struck a balance between making some really cool friends along the way and spending days entirely by myself just soaking everything up and so far it's really suiting me. I find that when I'm by myself I tend to appreciate the little things, the sounds, the smells, the atmosphere and I love it.Was I tempted to not go? Yes of course but I managed to ignore the doubt and just go for it. A lot of my friends didn't understand why I would want to do such a thing as they are much more comfortable in larger groups. Each to their own but personally I wouldn't enjoy that nearly as much. If anyone's reading this having similar thoughts I would advise just to try it! Of course there have been some lows as well but so far it's been such a unique and enjoyable experience!I just wanted to share my feelings regarding solo travel and thanks again to this sub <3 via /r/solotravel https://www.reddit.com/r/solotravel/comments/ciu2sh/its_amazing/?utm_source=ifttt
