Itinerary Advice for Germany
I have 9 nights in Germany/the Netherlands later this year and am trying to figure out how to balance my time. It'll be my first time in either country. I'm currently thinking 4 nights Munich, 3 nights Berlin, 2 nights Amsterdam (departing flight is out of Amsterdam). I'm leaning more heavily on Munich and Berlin because accommodation is much cheaper than it is in Amsterdam. Not sure if I should do 3 nights Munich, 3 nights Berlin, 3 nights Amsterdam or 3 nights Munich, 4 nights Berlin, 2 nights Amsterdam, or spend a night in a different Germany city en route to AMS (like Hamburg or Cologne) instead of a fourth night elsewhere. I'm hoping to take a day trip to Salzburg from Munich, which is why I thought I'd give Munich the extra night. I do tend to move pretty quickly when on trips, though.
