Critique my backpaking list? Europe, Male
Hey all, looking for feedback on my packing list for Europe. I'm going in August, and plan on doing some UK and europe and heading down to croatia/greece area over about 6 months, may even go to Istanbul or Egypt.In my Osprey Farpoint 55Clothes· 6 x T-shirts· 1 x light long sleeve shirt· 1 x light jumper (if it will fit)· 6 x underwear· 6 x socks· 1 pair thongs (flip flops for you Americans)· 2 x shoes· 1 x nice/dress shirt· 1 x chino pants· 1 x swimming trunks· 1x light sleeping shortsToiletries· Bar of soap· Deodorant· Razor· Trimmer (I look 16 with a clean shave)· 1 x shampoo & conditioner bottles 100ml· Toothbrush + 1 or 2 x toothpaste 100ml· Microfibre towel· PainkillersElectronics· Smartphone (S10e) + 2x charge cables· 2 x powerbanks· Laptop· Universal travel powerpoint adapter· 2 x earphones· External hard driveDocuments· Passport in its travel wallet· Wallet w/ cash and cardsMisc· Inflatable neck pillow (plane/bus travel)· Eye cover· Ear plugs· Sunglasses· Soft/collapsible water bottle· Keys + carabinersNotes:· Thinking about keeping 2 sources of electronic cash (my bank card at home and a travel card) separate· I wish I didn’t need the laptop but I’ll be applying for jobs on the road· Do people really need passport size photos for visas?· I took a gopro last time, and used it a lot. I got some good photos but it did end up taking up a lot of space with the accessories that I hardly used. I am thinking I will leave that this time and just rely on the phone camera· I’d like to get merino wool underpants so they might be less prone to smelling / longer use, does anyone have an affordable recommendation?· I know people will recommend to cut down on clothes, but I like to smell not unpleasant and not always be doing washing.
