2 weeks at the end of August - Tanzania, Costa Rica or Indonesia

So I have been researching for weeks now to find a nice trip for the end of August. My main goals are to see great nature and for me (European) exotic animals. I have narrowed my choices down to Tanzania, Costa Rica or Indonesia mainly due to the biodiversity and cost of flights but it is really difficult for me to decide where to go.First of all my goals:I would like to go to a place that has a great nature including big biodiversity.Costa Rica seems to have the best biodiversity, has rain/cloud forest, volcanoes and great beachesTanzania has the typical African safaris that would allow me to see the big five as well as nice beaches in Sansibar and the possibility to hike Kilimanjaro.Indonesia has great beaches and a tropical biodiversity.I generally would like to hang out at some nice beaches for a few days but I'm honestly not a person that is looking to spend the whole day at the beach to get a tan. I love to take photos and am therefore looking for something pretty to stay at and take photos. My main concerns for each country:Costa Rica will be in the rainy season for most of the country except the Carribean coast. Nice beaches are something that I would like to see but the least of my concerns. Also prices seem to be relatively high.Indonesia seems to be quite overrun by tourists and I prefer to be in a less touristy place.Tanzania seems to have really high costs for safaris. What I've found so far seem to be safaris where I would spend a few hundred Euros per day just for a safari tour.My main questions, mostly concerning my concerns:Is the weather in Costa Rica really that bad? I don't mind rain but if I am to spend two weeks there I would like to enjoy some animal tours in the rain forest and general life without having rain all the time. I understand that the rain seems to mostly be falling in the afternoon/night (although I know this is not predictable). Further, I am fearing that the cost for places to stay would be too high judging by Airbnb prices. Is the biodiversity in Indonesia worth it? Outside of Europe I have only been to Ecuador and Australia for placing that have a high biodiversity. Also how bad is the tourism over there? I would like to grab a few drinks here and there but I really don't want to end up in a place consisting of drunk tourists in resorts all day. What are the actual costs of safaris in Tanzania when I book after I arrive let's say for 2-3 days?BudgetI have a budget of around 2500€ for a two week trip including flights. Flights to all 3 countries would not cost me more than 5-600€ so I would have around 2000€ left for a 2-week trip that should include accommodation (no good hotels but no 10-bed dorms in a hostel either - more looking for sth Airbnb style)If in Tanzania I definitely would want to go on a SafariIf in Costa Rica I would definitely want to do some tours such as animal watching, rafting, etc.In Indonesia, I understand my budget would go the furthest but I am not sure about what kind of nature trips I could do.Any information would be highly appreciated here. I am not looking for a complete guide but rather on what is manageable with my expectations and budget. via /r/solotravel https://ift.tt/2lAbhvt
