2 days into my first solo trip i got bad news from home
I've been getting ready for this trip for the past 9 months. I was so excited. My first solo trip. 50 days in Thailand and Malaysia. I arrived in Bangkok on Wednesday. Got to my hostel. I was really jet lagged and tired. But still next day I started good, walked all day exploring, i talked with a few people at my hostel (something that's hard for me cuz i'm not that social and i was a bit worried). All was good. Off to a good start of my trip.And then my parents call me to tell me my dog died. They had to put her down because it got really bad. I knew she was close cuz she was old but i really didn't expect this. And it ruined me. I can't get back on track. I can't think of anything else but that i wasn't there when she passed. This dog was like my sister or something for 15 years. I have no closure. I had no time to say goodbye. I really had a connection with her. And my heart is breaking thinking all of this.I forgot of all the things i want to do in Bangkok and just aimlessly wandered around until my feet hurt. I now went to Kanchanaburi and i don't even have any energy to get out of bed. I'm sitting here alone in my hotel room and i haven't talked to anyone in days now. I'm going to Chiang Mai on Monday and there is really nothing to look forward to.Well, i just had to put this out of me. Maybe it will help.
