What would be the best cities for an introvert to go for a first solo trip for 10-14 days.

I have only taken two vacations as an adult (I am 30 :/). The first was to DC with my sister and the second was to Vancouver with my sister and her boyfriend (a work trip for him). I'd like to venture out on my first solo trip.I am mostly interested in museums and historical sites. Maybe like one day hiking or appreciating nature. Would need a place with good public transit. I am looking for fairly safe places to visit. I am female if that makes a difference.I am not super interested in socializing or drinking/bars. Excluding the plane tickets/hotels, I will have around $2,000 for food, transport, entry fees, etc. There are a few places I am interested in. Japan has a ton of places I want to visit and great public transportation. It is on my bucket list of places to visit. But the language and culture barrier might be too much for a first solo (overseas) trip.London as well. I am not as interested in their historical places but the language/culture might be less stressful as a first solo trip. I could also maybe visit some other European countries (I'd like to visit some historical Holocaust sites like Auschwitz-Birkenau). London also has a ton of free museums so that could save me some money.I could also try to go to someplace in the US but I'd rather venture out far if I am going to be paying for everything myself instead of with a family member or friend. For other introverts who were nervous about taking a solo trip, where did you go and what did you do to be less stressed? via /r/solotravel https://ift.tt/2JeZJGd
