Using up some SkyMiles and am considering either New York (Manhattan) or Seattle, WA

There's a chance this could be deleted but I'll be as detailed as possible without asking for too much.First off, my trip would be from 4/9/20 and return 4/14/20 for either choice.I currently live in Utah and I have enough SkyMiles to go to either place which are places I have been dying to see. It's about a 12 hour drive to Seattle from where I live so that's an option I suppose and it's actually less SkyMiles to go fly into NY. My concerns about are mainly about NY because I want to make sure that getting around isn't going to be too much of a hassle or too expensive and that if I stay somewhere near Manhattan that I can have a good experience. Seattle I plan to take public transit or rent a bike of some sort and I have a good idea of what to expect when traveling there based on stories from friends. Given that this is my first trip alone and it will be a little less than a week long, I can afford to go to either place (and yes I also factored in places to stay, food, play money, etc), I am wondering I'm curious as to which place would get me the most out of my miles and money. I'm not asking someone to plan my trip for me, just whether one place is worth going to over the other based on personal experience or knowledge of what offers a better experience than the other. via /r/solotravel http://bit.ly/2IUQKJT
