Southern Colorado to Santa Fe Route
Hey all, I'm going to be going from Great Sand Dunes National Park down to Santa Fe. My original plan was US 285, but when I plugged in where I was going, the alternate route I was given was to take NM 522 down to NM 68, which is on the East side of the Rio Grande and it looks like it may be a bit more scenic as it appears to be down in the canyon with the river some. Any thoughts? Going on the state highway also gives a much easier chance to stop in Taos if we so choose, I've been there before, but US 285 doesn't offer much by way of a place to stop and stretch your legs that I can tell.
