Headed to Ireland in August and have some questions about public transport throughout the country

So I’m going on my solo trip to Ireland for 14 days. Landing in Dublin and making my way clockwise to Galway and ending up back in Dublin to catch my flight back. Now my situation is a bit complicated. I’m only 20 years old and I’m not able to hire a car, so I am depending completely on foot, train, bus and bike to get around both in town and in between cities. Now many questions is how is the best way to go about getting bus/train tickets to go from city to city? For example the first city I’ll be hitting is Dublin and then Kilkenny and so on.What are my options to getting around? Are there any websites or apps I should be going to, to book my bus/train ticket? Should I do it beforehand or can I do it then and there?I’m still trying to figure out the logistics and don’t know how the prices are either so if someone could give me an idea of the easiest way of how getting around without a car, I would really appreciate the help, thank you. via /r/solotravel http://bit.ly/2xaiGUH
