Want suggestions and general advice on walking trip
So a few months ago a said I wanted to ride across Mongolia on a horse and quite a few people gave me good constructive criticism, while that is something I extremely want to do I will post pone it for however long is necessary until I am ready. The idea of going across great distances with a tent and just not seeing anyone and being alone in nature is still something I really want to do, instead of relying on horses I would want to do just walking, I am not sure what country I want to do but I am thinking America (although dosent have to be), I am Australian so I do not know the best states or whatever but I am just looking for a very long distance that could take months to walk with lots of good camping and wilderness, I dont really care about going to the cities. I know that there are a lot of these trails that can take months but that is the thing, there are a lot of them so I dont know which one to choose.
My budget should be around 6-7k USD after flights and visas and gear. Time isn't really an issue for me, what is a good suggestion for a scenic long walking path? I want to go within probably 2-3 months.
