Unexpectedly Solo. Help (London)
Due to passport issues what was supposed to be a fun trip with my boyfriend to London is a complete disaster. We had a babysitter and we’re going to London for 3 nights. He got us tickets to the Warner Brothers Harry Potter studio tour (an absolute once in a lifetime dream for me). We’ve never been to London and probably won’t have another chance to go.
The flight leaves in 2 hours and we just found out because of some passport issues he can’t go. As in they literally won’t let him leave the country to travel. NOTHING on our trip is refundable. Not the flight. Not the hotel. Not the Harry Potter. Nothing. Because of this I’ve decided to still go. My stomach is literally in knots and I’ve been crying non stop. This was my mother’s day/birthday gift from him he surprised me with and he has been looking forward to it for months as well. I’m terrified of going alone. What do I even do. I’ll have no cell service unless I find places with WiFi. I’ve never used public transport. I’ll probably end up locking myself in the hotel room and crying for 3 nights while trying to force myself to at least go to the Harry Potter tour. I’m sorry this post has gotten long. My brain is scattered I’m an emotional mess and I just don’t even know what to do. On top of this I was already not looking forward to leaving my daughter for 4 days (she’s only 18months old) but at least I was going to have my bf.
I’ll stop typing now just because this post is too long already. I just need help.
