Europe trip.

Looking to penny pinch where possible eithout ruining the trip. If you took a hotel plan, how long did you spend in the hotel each day? I've narrowed by picks down to the 14 day Winter Wonder (hotels) and the 11 day Winter Express (hostels). Choosing the hostels could save me up to $1500. But is it worth it?

I'd love to also hear from anyone who wanted to trek in hotels but took a chance on the hostels. What was your experience?

But anyones opinions and experiences is greatly appreciated too :)

Edit: Hell, even the 18 day Winter Gateway (hostel) is $400 cheaper.
