Should there be an order to seeing things?
What are some places where one attraction is better done before another?
I had been to the Forbidden City in Beijing before visiting the ancient royal palace in Seoul. While the Korean palace was somewhat interesting, it felt very much like I was visiting the miniature putt-putt golf course version of a grand golf course. If I had done the two in the opposite order, I feel as if I would have appreciated the royal palace in Seoul more rather than feel incredibly underwhelmed by a quaint imitation that seemed barely suitable for Chinese nobility, much less an emperor.
So my question is, what in your opinion, are some other sites that should be done in a specific order to avoid feeling underwhelmed or disinterested? Of course things are subjective and every site is unique but sometimes, for the not-as-interested, going to a less-famous version of a comparable attraction may feel like a waste of precious resources.
