Need some advice, Singapore in 2 days or 3?
Hello all! I'm going to Singapore for the first time at the end of May and am booking flights and accommodation right now (don't worry, I'm already in Malaysia, it's just a hop and a skip). I originally planned on flying in on Friday and leaving Monday, but the only flights available mean I would be landing around Friday 9 p.m. and leaving Monday at 11 a.m., so that really only leaves me with 2 full days to enjoy Singapore. Is this enough? I have a three-day weekend and was really hoping to take advantage of sightseeing on Monday, too, but I can't leave Monday evening like I originally planned.
I could leave Tuesday morning at 11 a.m. instead, I'm just wondering if that extra day in Singapore will be worth kind of stressing out on Tuesday when I need to get back to work (I work online). I'm planning on staying in a backpackers hostel in the city center, so an extra night wouldn't set me back too much. Has anyone done Singapore in a weekend and wished you had spent more or less time there?
