Morocco, Egypt, and Qatar over two weeks
Hello travelers! I'm part of an international cohort traveling to these three countries over 15 days in June and July. I'll be in Morocco (likely Marrakesh or Casablanca) from 26 June - 30 June, Egypt (Cairo) from 30 June to 5 July, and Qatar (likely Doha) from 5 July to 10 July. The majority of my time will be spent in meetings or other obligations while I'm in these countries, but I wanted to know about specific places to see and things to do during my off-hours (probably in the evenings).
My interests revolve strongly around food, culture, religion (religious sites or activities), and architecture in that order, and have a slight disdain for super touristy spots. That being said, I may not take time to visit the pyramids in Cairo. Sorry if this technically doesn't count as solo travel, but for what I'm asking it would be things to do on my own while I have free time away from my cohort. For accommodation, I will be staying in a shared room with one other person in hotels; so sadly no hostel-related shenanigans.
Thanks for any food and location recommendations!!!
