How to rent a cheap car in US when I am under 25?
Hi travellers,
in 2 months I will visit US for 6 weeks and I was thinking of renting a car on the west coast to see all famous national parks in the area. The problem is that I am still 24 (born in October 1994 so there are just a few months left!) and I am supposed to pay the Young Driver's Fee. The fee would increase the total charge by 30-50% (including full coverage insurance) so I am looking for a way to work around it. Have You used Turo? Do You recommend it and do you know if I need to pay an additional fee for being 24? Do you know any other way to rent a cheap car on the west coast? For 28 days I would like to pay about $800-900, including the insurance. I don't mind older cars as long as they run properly.
If there is any other place I should ask, tell me! Thanks in advance!
