14 Days to travel Maryland to Washington. Ideas, advice, places to visit?
Due to military circumstances I’m moving sooner then expected and have no experience traveling far enough to require sleeping accommodations. My starting point is Maryland and my one way end point is Washington. I’m allotting myself 14 days so I can travel with my girlfriend and fit her work schedule. I’ve been sheltered my entire life on the East Coast and have no idea what areas or routes I should take to make it to Washington State. Fortunately for me I’ve been really trying to get into the Overland Scene and have acquired several key things that might make my trip a little easier such as a RTT and cooking equipment.
My question for anyone who wants to chime in is, what places do I have to see, what routes should I take, what kind of areas could I overnight camp and I welcome any and all advice you have for us.
I’ve been recommended a few places but I at least want to visit Niagara Falls and Yellowstone National Park.
Thanks!
