Hey everyone, this May I'll be traveling to Italy from May 10th to May 19th with friends after our college graduation. Since I have a ton of airline points and a month off until I start work in June, I wanted to take a second trip back around may 23 for another week of solo travel around France/Germany. This will really be the only time I'll be able to take off this amount of time with no other obligations so I want to make the most of it but am worried about the burnout from traveling to and from the US. I tried to call Delta to just extend my flight back a week but they said they couldn't since I used Chase airline points to purchase the ticket.

Does anyone else have experience doing something like this?
