Travel insurance suggestions with Health Insurance and Baggage theft coverage (alternative to the cancelled ISIC Explorer insurance)
I used to just get an ISIC explorer travel card (costed $200/year) every year which covered the Health Insurance requirements for the Schengen Visa (I'm a Bangladeshi citizen), and a nice baggage-theft Insurance policy that covered up to $2500 total, and $500/item. This last bit was important to me because I travel with a camera, lens and laptop which all cost more than $500 each. ISIC seems to have cancelled the Explorer plan last month, and the best one they offer now is the ISIC Premium (costs $100/year) which only covers up to $250/item for Baggage theft. It does seem to cover the Schengen Health Insurance requirements but I am not very comfortable traveling with electronics that are not mostly insured for theft. Does anyone know of any alternative travel insurance plans that would cover my needs for Heath Insurance and Baggage-theft insurance?
