Blood falls, Antartica
It might not be of a fascinating view for most of you to watch a trail of blood-water flowing between glaciers. Microbiologists and glaciologists have worked toward establishing what the reason behind such a phenomenon is. They have deduced that the cause is a subterranean lack abundant in iron that offers the water its red color. Recent reports reveal that there are 1,300 ft. Microorganisms living underneath the ice, fed by sulfur and iron in the water.
