Hello everyone! First just wanted to thank everyone who posts their awesome plans here (I’ve been lurking a while), it’s inspired a New England to Great Lakes (hopefully via Canada) road trip for later this summer.

I was wondering if anyone had any experience traveling across the border with their dog. I know that both the US and Canada require vet-certified proof of a rabies vaccination (with different waiting periods, but my dog should be fine for both), but haven’t been able to find many first hand accounts of what it’s been like for people crossing the border by car.

Any advice or anecdotes would be very much appreciated, thanks!
