Long stay on a beach on a budget?
Any suggestions on where I could go and stay for a few months that would be relatively cheap?
I used to travel a lot then settled down and worked for a few years. Now I am burnt out and just want a real break. Would love somewhere peaceful but not isolated where I can just relax, regroup, and figure out what is next in life. I will need to find some kind of work (hopefully online, maybe teaching?) as I don't have much money saved up. I will need decent internet. A bonus would be to be somewhere Spanish speaking so I can learn Spanish at the same time.
I saw a long stay hostel in Ayampe Ecuador - looking for more ideas like that. I am mid 40s and definitely not into partying or constant loud noise. I want somewhere I can get healthy again, do some yoga, eat fresh fruits, get back in shape, clear my head, and enjoy the beauty of nature. I love meeting new people and I am not anti social but I want the option to be social or to be on my own. I think I could stay in a hostel type place as long as it had a chill vibe vs a party vibe and I had my own room. I love beaches, the ocean and sunsets / sunrises.
Any suggestions would be great!
