Hi,

My Girlfriend, our dog, and I are going to be driving from Alberta to Newfoundland and back this summer and I was curious what the border crossing process is like. We don't have any solid plans for stops yet and if crossing the border could take an hour or more it could destroy our schedule pretty easily. Worst case scenario we'll drive through Northern Ontario but that's boring af so we'd rather not.

Basically I want to know the typical time it takes to cross the border or the best crossings to use and any other tips (especially for crossing with a dog).
